What makes the Soulful Landscape programs unique?
Erica's core message about the role of personal connection to place in land stewardship is woven throughout her programs. She tailors each one individually for the group that is sponsoring her, taking particular joy in creating relevant links between her songs and stories and the mission of your organization or event.
Her programs are unique because of the unique journey that brought her to this work. From her beginnings as an aspiring wildlife biologist, to her career as a national touring artist, Erica knows what it means to deeply connect to a place, and translates that connection in ways so that others can experience their own sense of meaning and connection.
Using song, story and humor to put people at ease, she shifts the way they see, think and feel about their lives and the land. Using proven tools and techniques to help them find their own stories, they come away with a deeper connection to themselves and the places they care about. The result is the sense of engagement needed to participate in land stewardship today.
From in-depth trainings to powerful presentations, these programs help people connect to "their place." Whether you're interested in powerful tools deepen the connection between people and place, or just to restore your own connection, these programs are for you.

"Erica creates a kind of alchemy in the room where even the most timid of us is inspired to find the writer within. She gave us new tools and reminded me of tools I once knew and had long forgotten. She inspired me to get back to an interpretive project I had put aside which I am now working on with renewed enthusiasm and focus."
