Erica Wheeler: inspiring connections between people and place

Professional Development Trainings

Great Smokies National Park

Interpretive Training, May 2017

Great Smokies National Park
This park is one of the most highly visited in the nation. For their annual interpretive training they wanted something different. Many of their staff had been there 10, 20, even 25 years. Others were returning volunteers who had returned 2 - 10 years. And there were also brand new interns and seasonal staff.

They brought me in to help them find a fresh way to approach their programs for the natural and cultural history resources.
